How CIP-014 hardening comes together

NERC CIP-014 does not hand you a parts list. It requires the substation to be hardened to the utility’s own threat assessment. We build to the engineer’s drawings and the security plan, and hand over the documentation that proves it.

What is NERC CIP-014?

Does Langston do the threat assessment?

No. The utility and its security engineer do the assessment. We build the physical hardening it calls for.

What does CIP-014 hardening include?

Does Langston do the electrical work?
