Fort Campbell Natural Gas Power This project delivered complete site preparation and civil/mechanical works for three new natural gas generator stations, including utility upgrades, environmental controls, and reinforced concrete foundations for critical equipment.
- Utility locates, potholing, construction staking, safety signage, and erosion-control measures
- Clearing, grubbing, excavation, and grading of the entire site with on-base debris disposal
- Bio-retention basin with concrete overflow structure, rip-rap outfall, and 12 in. RCP to existing catch basin
- Two new fire-hydrant assemblies and water-line taps
- Three 12 ft x 54 ft 6 in generator pads and associated reinforced-concrete pads for lube-oil tanks, neutral-ground resistors, switchgear enclosure, pre-chamber compressor skid and cathodic protection
- Natural-gas piping from the meter to each generator location
- Installation of three new oil tanks and three used oil tanks
- Installation of 350' if 6" DIP water line to tie into existing system
- Excavation, reinforcing, concrete placement, and backfill for electrical duct banks and five light-pole bases
- Stone base installation, infiltration trenches, asphalt paving, topsoil placement, and hydro-seeding of disturbed ground
- Sixteen protective bollards plus 517 LF of chain-link fence with barbed-wire topper, three personnel gates, and three 24 ft double-swing gates
- Six 300-gal UL-142 double-wall lube-cube tanks installed for lubrication systems
- Water-truck and broom-truck road cleaning throughout earthwork; punch-list completion and final site cleanup
