Greer CPW Maple Creek Wastewater Treatment Plant

Langston Construction Company completed the belt press addition at the Maple Creek WWTP in Greer, SC 15 days prior to the contractual substantial completion date. The addition of this press helped Greer CPW in treating up to 5 million gallons of wastewater per day more efficiently to better serve more than 12,000 clients. Project included:

• The existing pre-engineered metal building that housed the belt press was extended by 1,500 square feet
• The existing WAS/Drain piping system was extended to accommodate the new belt press
• Relocation of existing below grade air piping and concrete foundations was needed to accommodate the new belt press
• Installation of the new belt press required the addition of polymer feed systems with the associated, electrical, motor control center bucket change out, and associated masonry, finishes, plumbing, and HVAC upgrade
