Striving to Introduce Skilled Trades Career Opportunities

Langston Construction Continues to Strive to Introduce Skilled Trades Career Opportunities

As part of ongoing efforts by Langston Construction Co. to attract talented individuals to the career opportunities in the Skilled Trades, Langston’s own Aubrey Davis discussed the possibilities to students at Anderson I & II Career and Technology Center.  Davis, in partnership with the Women In Construction Forum, presented an impactful informational talk about the many opportunities for women in the construction industry.

“I enjoyed speaking with the young ladies at ACTC to help them explore fields in construction. A common problem the industry faces is a lack of knowledge about all the different job opportunities within the field. I hope our outreach helps break this misconception and attract new talent into the industry!” Aubrey Davis, Assistant Project Manager, Langston Construction

“The WCF was one of the most powerful, impactful, and interactive presentations our female students have had the opportunity to be a part of.”  Kelli Lancaster, Work Based Learning Coordinator, ACTC
